It is week 5 of the Accelerate Your Job Search Results & Create a Life You Love challenge. \u00a0The challenge is to take action and transform your search\u00a0and<\/em>\u00a0life in nine weeks.<\/p>\n

Last week’s action was all about trusting your instincts. \u00a0Did you have an occasion to use your gut to help make a decision? \u00a0Let’s move on to this week’s action.<\/p>\n

Action #5: \u00a0Do What You Hate<\/strong><\/p>\n

Remember when someone tried to convince you to “try the green beans, you might like them?” \u00a0Interesting and fun experiences can and do come from trying the things you think you dislike.<\/p>\n

As an adult, since you don’t have a parent telling you to eat new stuff or try new things, you must do this for yourself. \u00a0Again, this is about stepping out of your comfort zone. \u00a0If you never try something simply because you believe you will not like it, you may miss some very interesting and exciting things. \u00a0The blessing in doing something you “hate” is that it helps promote flexibility. \u00a0Even if you try something and didn’t end up enjoying it you expanded your experience. \u00a0Go ahead — just try it.<\/p>\n
