The answer to that question is simple — at least from my point of view. \u00a0Landing a DREAM<\/em> job always depends on: \u00a0you, the labor market and what actions you are willing to take.<\/p>\n

I suggest you first define what a dream<\/em> job is for you. \u00a0Here is my view of what a dream<\/em> job is:<\/p>\n

  • D<\/em><\/strong>elivers\u00a0<\/em>satisfaction, supports your goals, and its sense of purpose provides<\/li>\n
  • R<\/em><\/strong>ealistic <\/em>growth and challenge, helps you grow as a human being,<\/li>\n
  • E<\/em><\/strong>nergizes <\/em>you more than not, offers<\/li>\n
  • A<\/em><\/strong>lignment\u00a0<\/em>with your values, vision, mission, and unique value,<\/li>\n
  • M<\/em><\/strong>oves<\/em> you to offer the world your best. (TM)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    If your definition is similar, I can help you. \u00a0Here is a simple 5-step formula to help you land your DREAM<\/em><\/strong> job:<\/p>\n

    1. Determine quickly the direction you will go.<\/li>\n
    2. Realistically look at your budget, needs, and wants for the long-term and short-term and set a timeline to achieve your DREAM<\/em><\/strong><\/li>\n
    3. Evaluate your career, who you are, what you offer and the marketplace.<\/li>\n
    4. Ask for what you want, be willing to accept ‘”No” for an answer, and keep asking.<\/li>\n
    5. Move forward with intention<\/strong> every day. \u00a0Daily focused action is required to achieve your DREAM<\/em> job and hear, “You\u2019re hired!”<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      Does it sound too simple? \u00a0 It is simple, yet it requires real<\/strong> work.<\/p>\n

      Landing your DREAM<\/em> job is not hard. \u00a0What’s hard<\/strong> is making the commitment to execute each step in the formula and to take needed action daily<\/em>.<\/p>\n
