Do you trust yourself? \u00a0Why not?<\/p>\n

The quote above has become a favorite of mine. \u00a0I like the truth in it.<\/p>\n

I think it was Kerri Konik<\/a> who first introduced me to this Mastin Kipp quote. \u00a0Thanks Kerri!<\/p>\n

People are who they are. \u00a0People are worthy, funny and insightful.<\/p>\n

All people have gifts and talents unique to them. \u00a0People are resilient, graceful, and caring. \u00a0People are amazing! \u00a0All people have an essence unique to them.<\/p>\n

Yes, this is my point-of-view and I realize it is often not a popular point of view. \u00a0Over time, many have shared with me how wrong I am on this point. \u00a0Others protest and disagree with me, stating they cannot support my point of view. \u00a0I understand.<\/p>\n

The world is full of different points-of-view, so much so that often people begin to believe that just being themselves is not\u00a0enough.<\/p>\n

Yes, there are days when I am not focused and not aware of the essence of every person around me. \u00a0Yet, I do trust that I can pause and, with a moment of focus, am able to capture a person’s essence and, usually, the person’s unique gifts.<\/p>\n

People are flexible and adapt. \u00a0Some people work hard to change, adapt, and adjust who they are for various reasons, needs or concerns. \u00a0Some people move away from their essence if they feel they need to do so to survive or maintain the status quo. \u00a0Some people live in the present, being who they are in a conscious manner.<\/p>\n

Perhaps those who disagree with me view people differently. \u00a0That is okay. \u00a0Seeing who people are, at least for me, requires being present and trusting myself first. \u00a0Then I can see and trust people for who they believe they are now.<\/p>\n

What circumstances, thoughts or beliefs shape your trust of others? \u00a0Of yourself? \u00a0What needs shape your trust when you look in the mirror each morning?<\/p>\n

Do you communicate trust in yourself?<\/p>\n

Trust is critical in hiring and finding a job. \u00a0People hire and do business with people they know, like and trust.<\/p>\n
